I have always been drawn to questions that don't have simple answers. IndicLens is where I do something about that.
Curiosity that never really settled down
For as long as I can remember, I've been the kind of person who asks "but why" one step past where most conversations stop. Space, ancient history, religion, psychology, geopolitics, the unexplained — these weren't separate interests to me. They felt like different rooms in the same house, all connected to the same underlying question: what is actually going on here, and what do we really know versus assume?
IndicLens is my attempt to give that curiosity a proper home — a place to research seriously, think out loud, and be honest about the difference between what the evidence shows, what I personally believe, and what's simply an interesting possibility worth sitting with.
The name comes from "Indic" as in a lens — a way of looking at ideas from different angles — not a claim that the site is only about India. It's global, multidisciplinary, and unapologetically curious.
How I Research
I start with a question, then work outward — academic papers and books where they exist, primary sources where I can find them, and a genuine effort to represent competing explanations fairly before I say what I think. Every serious article separates evidence from my interpretation from open speculation, clearly labeled.
Why I Write
Writing is how I actually finish thinking about something. A question that stays in my head stays vague; a question I have to research, structure and explain has to hold together. IndicLens is as much a discipline for my own thinking as it is something to share.
